uhm, no. I'd maybe think so if she had a really flat chest, but since there are well-formed breasts I would have never thought about this possibility.

It's possible to be under 16-18 and still have breasts, it doesn't make it any less child pornography.
I understand that it's art and that it's open to interpretation, but it still feels 'wrong' to me, that's all.

Lets forget completely about age for a moment here. I think the more important question is "Why do breasts equal porn?"
Nudity does not have to be sexual, you know. If the first thing that pops into your head when you see a little skin is inappropriate, perhaps your questions should be turned a little more internal.

I think I understand what you're saying. It was a poor choice of wording on my part. 'Child nudity' is what I had meant to refer to. I understand that there is a distinct difference between pornography and nudity, but I had gotten a little careless with my wording. My apologies.
I have very little contention with the use of nudity in art. However, this particular image strikes me as somewhat in a gray area with regards to age. I can fully understand that it is a representation of an individual, fictitious or not, and not something that is necessarily real, but I reiterate that it disturbs me somewhat nonetheless.
I'm not looking to create any tension, but rather out of curiosity or for the sake of discourse, would you consider it appropriate to portray young girls through the use of photography in a similar manner? That is really the heart of the argument I am trying to present.
Additionally, please do not assume what I do or do not think, or what my feelings on certain subjects are. I find it rude and belittling to my intelligence.

well, she is young, but not THAT young. O__O and i didn't mean to use her nudity in sexual, but more in an emotional way. i think naked breasts are not always porn, just a beautiful part of a woman's body which doesn't need an instant "PORN"-stamp.
if the girl had some clothes on, she would't seem so.... *hm* weak and innocent. (aaargh, i hate to describe what i wanted to draw)
i also would say it would be okay in photography if the girl has legal age.
