I am in love with your Phoenix tattoos. I've been thinking about getting a tattoo since I was seven (although I'm not ready yet) but I always knew I was going to get a Phoenix most of the Phoenix tattoo pieces are bland and dull..... But man, It would be a honnor t o be tattooed by such a wonderful artist.

That's beautiful! And not only that, you've fixed the main issue I have with bird/peacock/phoenix tattoos, which is the facial expression.
Most that I've seen can be really sumptuous in their coloring and plumage, but then end on a really spiteful looking face that spoils it.

The Phoenix... what a lovely symbol. I think my first tat is going to be a writing spider. Though I'm not sure. I'll be getting a tat as soon as I get a car. Money's a bit tight when you're in the middle of starting a new life.

Wow. This is simply stunning. The detail you put into this piece is amazing.
I love the way it flows, not only the movement of the body and feathers, but how it moves with the body structure of the body its placed on. It gives that sense of belonging there. Not just some random ink in a random spot.
I couldn't resist commenting. If you have any tips for someone who is very much considering making a career of tattooing it would be held with high regard. Granted. My gallery is full of digital work but I can sit and simply watch a good tattoo artist work for hours and find it the most fascinating thing.

thank you very much for all the kind words. i really appreciate it. the tattoo biz is getting harder to get into b/c there are tooooo many of them and most are no good. so shops are EXTREMELY selective with who they might apprentice. you kind of have to know someone nowadays.

i went to college and never used my degrees (obviously), but youd probably have better luck going to college and THEN try tattooing later.

This is so beautiful yet so strong. I love your attention to detail in this and your other work. I would very much like to get a tattoo from you. I live in Australia but I would be more then happy to fly out. I am very picky and none of the artist here have shown the same talent you have. Unfortunately the earliest I can fly out is early next year. All ready checked prices for flights.

i know what you mean about airfare costs - this time of year up until the holidays can be a bit pricier than the start of the new year. but youd be suprised at how fast time will fly and that time of year will fast be upon us.
