----Scylla-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A sea monster from Greek mythology. According to one legend, Scylla was and nymph and daughter of the river god Cetus
and lover of the god Glaucus. Circe, a sea witch and also a lover of Glaucus, became jealous and plotted vengeance
against the nymph. While she was bathing herself at the seashore Circe poisoned the water with a potion that transformed
Scylla in a hideous monster with four eyes, six hideous heads with three rows of sharp teeth, tentacles and six hungry
canine-like heads ringed around her waist. She then started haunting a channel of water along with the monster Charybdis,
each one guarding one of the entrances, origin of the saying " to be between Scylla and Charybdis", that is, to be between
two choices each causing a great harm.

Almost gave up on this one, but it's finally done...

I omitted several details of her original description because I didn't think they would look well on the final drawing,
such as the dog heads. The intention was to simply make a chimera out of sea animals: anemones, crabs, barnacle, octopus,
a sea-conch... All here on the final result.

Um monstro marinho da mitologia grega. Segundo uma das lendas, Cila era uma ninfa e filha do deus do rio Cetus e
amante de Glauco, outra divindade. Circe, uma bruxa do mar e também uma outra amante de Glauco, se encheu de ciúmes
e tramou uma vingança contra a ninfa. Enquanto ela se banhava no mar, Circe envenenou a água com um poção que fez com
que Cila se transformasse em um monstro horrendo de quatro olhos, seis cabeças com três fileiras de dentes afiados,
tentáculos de polvo e seis cabeças de cachorro famintas brotando de seu quadril. Ela então passou a assombrar um canal
de água junto com o monstro Caríbdis, cada um guardando uma das duas entradas, conto que deu origem ao ditado "estar
entre Cila e Caríbdis", ou seja, estar entre duas opções aonde ambas causarão um grande mal.

Quase desisti desse aqui, mas está pronto finalmente...

Omiti vários detalhes da descrição original dela porque não achei que ficariam muito bem no desenho, como as
cabeças de cachorro por exemplo. A intenção era fazer uma quimera com tema de animais marinhos: Anêmona, caranguejo, craca,
polvo, concha, etc... Vide tudo isso no resultado final.
