Considering Breen ships were asymmetrical in layout, I could definitely accept this as a design that borrows heavily from what Cardassian shipwrights might have learned about Breen designs. Furthermore, the color scheme might also imply the use of Dominion metallurgical knowledge and techniques. These two factors in mind, this could easily be a very late war or even post war Cardassian design that would readily fit into canon. Some superb out-of-the-box thinking behind this one.
