Jara (or Jera) is from Juukou B-Fighter, translated to become Big Bad Beetleborgs (through Saban I believe). I think I have to work on her mask a little but otherwise pretty good
Just getting the old drawing hand back in shape with some sketching tonight also warming up for my upcoming obscure character jam.

In the Japanese version at the end before she die's. Her mask breaks off and she's really a blonde Caucasion woman!!

Finally, some love for one of my original faves! I actually have the old episodes of the Juukou B-Fighter, which gave a lot more close-ups of her mask. Is there a way to post screenshots on DA? I love a good reference photo, and for this character they are very hard to find, so I would be willing to post some if anyone wants.

I couldn't remember a lot of details so I went from the four or five fuzzy pictures I could find online of her haha. I love this pose as well, it really came out well.
Often I think of the body and legs and get to the arms and run out of ideas, this time everything flowed together nicely.

Oh Im the same that way, body legs fine. Arms always a big question what I should actually do with them. Yeah but everything did flow really well together. Wow 4 -5 pictures now that seems very obscure.

Actually, she's a cyborg wearing a mask. She gets unmasked before she dies near the end of the Japanese version of the series, and is played by Japan-based Canadian actress Shelley Sweeney (GODZILLA VS. MECHAGODZILLA '93).
