You know, I kinda like the WoW version of the Beholder a bit better due to it having those tentacles (which I presume it uses to help move around its environment and grab things) and the smaller eyes that complement the main central eye. However, I'd probably like this monster a bit better if it had eye stalks around its head like the D&D Beholders.

ok, so in english: FINALLY! something AD&D! altough it's awesome it could sue some changes - 'fatigued' eyes (you know, red-crimson), cos of casting spells
