Description
Happy F7 Friday! I really wanted to get this done by last night but I quit work around 3AM to let my roommate sleep (See? I make compromise). There’s a lot going wrong in this picture, I know. It woulda come out a lot better if I could, like, draw. And color, maybe.I have this thing for muted, grimy colors, I’m beginning to notice. O.o

Oh, sorry-- since you started a new comment chain instead of "replying" to my last comment, I took YOUR last comment out of context. I agree, when it comes to new models, the sooner you buy them, the better. The problem is, there are lots of nice new models that I would like to buy or pre-order, but I don't have the money to buy them when they're brand-new-- and after that, it's too late.

That's alright, true and frustrating, having a shop that does layby is very nice but the one's that don't are a pain but you does have your priorities of where that money needs to be though.
Down here in Australia I model the South Australian Railways and the model scene is starting to catch up with the rest of the world, the lead time for when a new model allows for a bit of cash to be set aside for the release date

Start saving, or order it and layby it. Missed out on a couple of things. now its more If I like it, buy it or layby it and it works out for me better and less kicking myself later which I've learnt from experience.
That said I don't buy on impulse either but if its something that catches my eye and I keep coming back to it then I'm more than likely to buy it too usually a good reason.

All they had seen was a flash of bright colors
All they had heard was a screaming whistle
All that was left were clouds of steam
In that moment while falling on their sides
The F40ph's looked at each other
In their eyes though no words were said.
No words were needed
The giant is alive
The king has returned
To reclaim its throne
The F7 is here
It takes no prisoners
It is well trained
It is well armed
It will fight hard
And it's Taking it all back

*brings in some 4ft 8in 'narrow gauge'(well standard gauge there is about 8ft so...) steamers from the dragon realm and starts pushing ugly desiles off the rails with them*
Long live steam for it powers the world.

Well yeah in the dragon realm we never gave up steam.... heck we got steam turbines to actually work out..... Hybrid transmission with those, direct drive at high speeds, hydraulic at low speed.

Wrote a parody Weird All style about him! He should come here on DA, where he can be spammed, then blocked! If we are little ants to him, one ant won't do much good. BUT A BUNCH OF 'EM PINNING HIM DOWN WILL GET RID OF HIM!

Hrrrmmm, no doubt, that. XD But I doubt that NS has the interest or the expertise to run a passenger train these days. Of course, railroads have a way of sparking surprising news stories. XD

Me at OLI camp when everyone is saying Diesel jibberish that I don't understand. For me, class E2a (my profile pic) sounds much simpler than SD70ACe.

You clearly have a refined taste. I'm sorry to say that I am neither a MILW expert nor a whistle expert, and as such have no idea whatsoever what kind of whistle the F7s had.
(Presumably it was a steam one.)
