Description
This wasn't supposed to be Houndoom. I was drawing a greyhound for a friend (because I'm very behind on animal orders) and I sketched in little horns for fun and boom! I ended up doing a very... domesticated looking Houndoom... and still didn't finish her drawing :/ oh wells..I know he doesn't have a row of spikes on his head but I thought it looked cool. Anyway, just a pup looking for a home

Yeah, I played every game (gamboy and ds) installments for it up to black and white but now it's getting out of hand. There's like over 600 Pokemon now, and they don't look very good. :/ for the first time in my life I wont be picking up the next generation game for it. I think it finally killed itself to me. I still enjoy the actual Pokemon, they are interesting little creatures.

Good line discipline with the microns. (bare with me on this)So remember that talk about reminders while drawing (posture,breaks,etc )? Well, I didn't make a post it with the reminders... ..buuut I thought about the post it while drawing yesterday. So it worked, sorta. I remembered the reminders while not actually having the post it.
There was a point to this..oh yea. To compartmentalize. Some portions of a picture require slow line work while other portions speedy static lines work. If the picture has these properties I take pauses between the two. Ones sorta like driving in a residential area while the other an expressway as far as hand movement. I noticed that when i just went from one line demand to the next seamlessly that I wasn't getting the best result (slow dragging lines in speedy sections and the sharp speedy line movements in slow rounding areas. Naaah so good cuz my speedy lines are skeeetchy .
So back to the beginning, good line discipline. Cool critter design. He has kind eyes for something with hell in its description. Perhaps Ive fallen for its guise. Oh dear, i would've been eaten not good

But thank you I actually didn't follow any of the reminders when I did this. I sped through this like nuts because my biggest flaw with inking is that while it's my favorite medium, I also get impatient with smaller details. I want to ink so fluid and clean, like that last one you did. Perfect! But I'm like, Nyaaaa must finish NOW! and It's gets super sketchy and then I kill my hand >.< haha
