Description This is an offshoot from my 2nd pong with Marnie miincdesign [ ] in our ongoing pong series, Pongalicious.  There were sooooooooooooo many interesting variants it was really difficult to pick just one. Yesterday I went back through some of the old discarded parameters and found this one, with a very cool color trap / map. Look under the 'pots' and you can see that classic shape there as a texture on the 'floor' as well as on the side of the some of the other 'pots'.

My big lesson from this is to check the different color trap options because you never know what types of patterns might be there!

The image I did settle on for my pong is this one:
It was in response to Marnie's pong #001, which was this:

I love the pots!  This coloring job is perfect.  I love the dots!  The lacy details around the pots holes is amazing!  Love the way you show it off with the wonderful lighting!

awwww thanks M!

The dots were like a surprise present. I was all set to render a 'solid color' and just for the heck of it checked the different map types and almost fell out of my seat!  I got so excited. My first inclination was to go with pink with black dots LOL... then sanity stepped back in.

I may do another round with bold colors tho - maybe caution yellow and black... hmmmmm.....

Bumble bees!  Those are some great colors if you get the yellow just right!  But I like black and pink also , but you picked the best of the three!!!!!

Thanks

I've actually been having trouble with getting my lighting right for solid colors. Still need to work on that so possibly the polka dots are a good thing to practise on.
