that mark on his shoulder is ridiculous... they should at least consider kopa and the other cubs (malka, etc). Kion is not bad, but i prefer him withouth that mark.

Nope, they used non-toxic fur paint. They only used it in more photogenic poses during the shows, but he did have it throughout. lol

He's a new character to appear in an hour long direct to TV spinoff movie of The Lion King which will open up for his new series The Lion Guard on Disney Junior. It's not slated to air until November of next year.

I watched an announcement and while I don't have much of a problem with this retconing the second movie (though I really liked Kiara) I gotta ask, what's up with the paws marked on him?
And Lion King meets the Avengers? I know it doesn't mean that we will see the superheroes but I don't get how that will fit in the TLK universe
Hope this could be good since I wouldn't have expect in the 90s that the Timon & Pumba cartoon would be so good and like that duo even more than in the movie (And I still find them funny).

Same here. And because it's not the same color, it likely is painted on. If it were a birth mark or fur marking it'd have been the same color of his spots or even darker.

Eh, just go on like he's not there, even if he does. I was always a little miffed at the Chronicles of the Pridelands authors for rewriting their stories after Simba's Pride. The rewrites felt forced, not nearly as epic as the originals (which at least for a while were damn hard to find online; I still have may late 90s print-offs

Woah, woah, woah...the CotPL authors rewrote their stories? This is news to me. The stories I read all featured Tanabi being Simba's son and eventually succeeding him. I may have seen Kiara mentioned in one story, but I might just be remembering it wrong.
And oh my gosh...you're that Uzuri from TLKFAA! My gosh, it's been so long. It's amazing to see so many older fans coming out of the woodwork to talk about this new development.

They did indeed -- there was CotPL 2000, which worked in the new canon characters. At the time you couldn't find the original for the new ones, but it looks like now it's swung the other way and the originals are easy to find and the rewrites next to impossible (thank God).

Naw he won't ruin your comic, because his story takes place after Simba's Pride. ^^ It should have no effect on your theories that fill in the plotholes (unless they try to say two different lions were parents of Scar and Mufasa)
