I've wanted to do a picture of the monkey king from Journey to the West for a very long time.I'm not entirely pleased with how this turned out. Fire and I don't get along well, and I got a lot of feedback that his fan looks like a guitar.
But, take it as you will. I did enjoy making all the fur and textures, and the expression on his face.Medium:

this is sooo fucking beautiful, and it's awesome to see you capturing him in action actually doing something from the folklore putting out the fire with the giant fan xD super cool, but his face looks a bit scary and old, but gahhh love it!! the pose, and the sparkles and texture, its great
