Description Trying my hand at the adoptable thing, which I'm still not... entirely sure about, but I have an endless amount of character designs forever floating around my head, more than I will logically ever use. Seems like a good way to spread the love.

Price is $5 each, or 400 points.

Note me if you're interested, I'll toss you my paypal info and e-mail you the original, high-res and unwatermarked version. Feel free to do whatever you want with the design, claim it as your character, etc. just don't claim the lineart/colors on the original drawing as yours.

You're not wrong, but naga is the colloquial term for both, and makes it easier to search and identify on DeviantART for sale purposes. In the two years since this deviation, I've stopped referring to my personal snake monster characters as naga altogether because there's really no more than a passing similarity to Hindu source material.

So, moot point I guess.

Just worth keeping track on. Your designs are so well done.

Just remember to update what is open and not when something changes.

Aaah, man, if only. I have five physical dollars, but I have neither 400 points nor a bank account. Guess I'm just going to have to pine or make my own. These are all very nice, though!

I know the feeling. I don't use paypal, so I could afford one of these designs, but I just can't pay for them :<

I still have no clue what the point of adoptables even is D: Do people buy the character to make it their own...? or?

GreenofDoom In reply to takisis [2012-10-06 06:47:43 +0000 UTC]

They pay to make the design and character their own, yes.

As far as I can tell, it's basically selling the design to another person to use. So you 'adopt' the design as your own.
I never fully understood it myself but... Yeah, I guess that works?

Even if you're not into the whole "adoptables" fad, it's a nice visual reference for naga characters beyond the same stale "python" and "rattler" colorations you usually see.
