Sarasvati bowed his head, and the eyes of Argus spread out behind him.I wish this had scanned better. As usual, it's a little mangled despite much fiddling with setting and whatnot. It's much, much nicer RL. Essentially, it's just some practice with traditional media (prismacolor markers and pencils). I may or may not sell this at Anthrocon.

This is really nicely done. I love the shading and form on his body, the pose is nice too, the entire picture does very well to convey a story within itself. The only thing that boggles me, is why his wings are brown.

Becaaause peacocks are pheasants, and despite the amazing awesomeness of their bodies and tails, they really do have pretty plain, drab brown wings.

The colors duke, the colors! Iām colorblind kid.
Iām loving the blue to gray/brown on the wings and the little bits of green on the torso, arm, leg and head. also the fading shadow, marble steps and of course the curtains are THE Awesome

But the pot with the red flowers in it looks kind of off. And the container next to the bowel of fruit, the bottom should be more round and less.. straight. I wish I was better at wording things, and I understand what you were trying to do here and the idea is great! But it's really hard to read.. my eyes follow the picture and things just look like they're out of place, like the perspective of everything is kind of off. The bird is on one plain of view while the steps, pots, and fruit are on another. Just giving a helpful critique.

No, the perspective on the whole picture is totally fucked. I'm not at all good at indoor scenes, I'm more used to organic outdoorsy backgrounds, if I do them at all.
Thanks for the critique. It's a liiittle disheartening because of all the time I spent on this thing, but I see the flaws you pointed out. Not going back and doing it all over, though. Oh well, next time!

it scanned just fine, i love it. so funny today my mom and i saw a peacock on side of this freeway ALIVE and just sitting on the edge. what's up with that?
