Description
All the things Hemlock really needs in life: tea, plants, a small reminder of his past, and the feather which I am totally not going to explain. Shhshh.I had fun with his scales on this one.

tea, plants, knife, feather.
= nourishment, love, violence, sex/joy.
This is a metaphor for life right here

Ah, I really love the way you put the escond set of arms lower on the torso, I don't think I've ever seen that before except for one place.

*Drools* Hemlock...all your nagas are fantasticly sexy...but something about his four arms...gives me shivers! Did you do this in oc? I remember you did some nagas in oc and the scales were so...detailed...do you use oc3?

No, I did this in Photoshop. I don't have OC 3. Well, I have it, but there's an error in it that causes it to crash halfway through when I'm coloring pictures. Consequently, I don't use it. I need a non-corrupted version u_u;

There used to be a da journal somewhere...where you could get an uncorrupted version but it was taken down >.< Drat! I was hoping scales like those could be made without the painfully complicated photoshop....If I find another oc3 download I shall let you know.

Well, you can, the same technique can be done in nearly any program, and since OC3 and OC have layers...
Make a new layer ontop of the snakebody, and color in some big white areas where the scales will go. Lower the opacity of the layer (or paint the areas in a low opacity), and then erase small crosshatched lines through the white areas. Then erase lightly around the edges of the white areas for a more "rounded" look.

Ooo, scales! I love the detail in this, and the shading. I like the potted plant, too.
