Description Hello everybody !

Well i have questions and i hope you will give me ur thinking about it.

This painting as u know it's UNREAL. Well i have an POSTER exercise in class. And ill use this pic as a perfume poster for it. Suppose everything in this pic is real as a photo, i mean the girl is a real person, and the sights are real too, just use PS to mix them.

So how do you feel when u see a poster like this and if ur a customer, do u like this kind of perfume poster ? and how is it in ur eyes ?

Well i asked too much, i hope you will help me to some decisions for it

Now im making a new one for it but i want to know how people think about it

Thank you very much !

I'd rather see this poster with your art on it than a real person
But it's very catchy! I'd love a perfume like that!

I like this concept, my only comment would be to make the necklace fall a bit more naturally, it makes it seem like gravity is pulling down (wich in this case it isnt, exactly)

In fact, I think you can get away with Not illustrating the product at all, if you can remark at some corner what it is.

Well, it gives the impression that when you use this perfume, all your problems will go away, you will be stress free, and somewhere where your hopes and dreams can fly free. The colours add to that effect...also cause i love green If i saw this poster, i may be very tempted to go get this perfume...that very rare

I'd probably put her eyes closed like she's smelling..or relaxing. It's very beautiful as is though.

kinda makes me think the perfume is a nice, breezy, flower scented one which i bet someone would totally buy...

I think it's awesome!!! She's very pretty and I like the idea of the grass and sea all mixed in one setting. The font works well too. All I suggest is that you make the perfume alot bigger so that not to much attention is drawn to the woman, but to the product. Great practice, you're on the right path!~

Do be completely honest with you, I like it. I think that is is very fitting and the colors work nicely. And keeping the actual purfume small there in the corner is good.

First the eyes are attracted to the pretty lady and the green fantasy like pasture, then tou start reading and seeing what is all about.

Vey nice design. And it would be perfect for the design world because its eye catching and pleasing to the eye.

Kind of makes me wanna buy the perfume even though its not real. XD

i love this piece and i faved it! I might change the fact that the picture is vertical and make it horizontal again...looks more natrual. The perfume would be flowery in my eyes... i would love it as a perfume ad

I think it would be very good for a parfume~ Like I said in my original comment~ It looks like a dream~ mystic and very interessting~ If the model fits and everything will be well done~ It would be a great poster
But how it is on this example~ the parfume is .. in the background i think~ (and i don't like the "deep green" text ^^")
If this would be done with more ... love (haha) it would fit good ^^
awww... and it would be funny if the fish would swim to the parfume
haha..
And I'm very interessted in your other idea ^^

Yeah my attention goes to her necklace, the orange butterfly on the upper side (which is well focused whilst the blade of grass where she's on is so blurred) and the pink butterfly under the written "AURORA".

The perfume doesn't catch all the attention it deserves, maybe because the bottle has a shape that isn't well distinguishable as a perfume bottle... it should be bigger and more captivating... I'm more attracted by the lady than by the perfume.

If this were an actual advertisement poster just as it is, I'd buy it. If it were real, I'd buy it as well! This would make an absolutely GORGEOUS commercial/ad thing. xD Great job. I absolutely LOVE how she looks and how she seems so relaxed, elegant, captivated, beautiful, etc. xD No words can describe how beautiful she looks. If you were selling perfume, I'll pay for it! >D

The picture is really amazing and would be great for a perfume ad, EXCEPT for the weird orange thing covering her chest. I think that there should be something else there. It just doesn't match the rest of the picture; which is soft and natural looking, and then suddenly there is a disease growing on her breast, lol. Anywho, good luck with that.

i agree - direct some butterflies or petals to it to draw attention... or make the perfume bigger so it captures a bit more space....

but other then that, i could look at that poster for hours!!

Zhaana said it well. I think if you want to give the perfume more attention, perhaps you could put a couple fish or butterflies around it. They don't have to be looking at it or anything, but just making the viewer look toward that direction.

It's definetely very fitting for a perfume ad! It wouldn't look out of place in a women's magazine. And I'd definetely buy a perfume with that name...

I think the poster as a total is very beautiful and eyecatching. The nature environment combined with this dreamy lady makes you expect a very nice fresh and springlike fragrance. One little point of critique: the woman draws so much attention, while maybe the attention should go out to the perfume. At least, that seems logical, no? Maybe it's an idea to make the perfume larger, so that it's totally clear to your potential customers what it is they wanna buy...

when i see it i have a good feeling... im sure it would catch my attention when i saw the poster on my way to work... the only thing that is a little bit weird to me is the "aurora" text. it seems like it catches my attention more than anything else o.O but maybe its only me *g*

i really like this idea but i would put the girl horizontally rather than vertically. so basically she would be lying down on the grass and in all the space above her there will be the sky and all the writing for the ad.

It would definitely be the best perfume ad I've ever seen before. It really gives off a feeling of calm or being at peace with the world and yourself, beauty, fresh and just a whole bunch of stuff that you want throughout the day.

I like the necklace. If you were flipping through a magazine the necklace would catch your eye and then the rest of the picture would come into play.

I definitely do agree with making the product a little more noticable though.

Other than that the picture is gorgeous.

adstantes [2005-12-19 11:22:45 +0000 UTC]

I'd say you should make it a landscape, and include the text in roughly the same position. Then place the product to the right, in a box (with a black background) by itself, keeping the same height.

If that doesn't suit, make the product more noticable - at the moment it's blue and green on a teal background....doesn't attract my attention at all really.

Zhaana [2005-12-19 09:47:07 +0000 UTC]

It fits very well a perfume advertising !! o_O I'd make the product larger as said above !

Othewise about the color necklace I don't think you have to change it, but it'd be better if we could see some red/orange tones on the product.... It'd more catch the eye on the product I dunno...
But i like this way too, the eyes are attracted towards the girl first, then we see the product and title after....from left to right. It give envy to know what is the flavor of the perfume ! something fresh, light..perfect for women ^^

Maybe the product could have a shape of fish/grass/flower ( think about Kenzo perfume xD ) / or something about flying.... lool

Hi!
I like the grass thingie and all the butterflies and the girl
it speaks to me and says "fresh" but I would change the colour of her necklace to some other colour, like blue/greenish or something because to me it doesnt fit with the enite message.
its a very nicely done poster in all other ways

(and me like the fish thing grass under the sea or sea in the sky?)

grass under the sea or sea in the sky? It's up to ur thinking. Someone thinks grass under the sea, but other thinks sea in the sky. Nobody knows cause it's mysterious Like u use that perfume, u will make urself look myterious to people. A special feeling That's my idea
