Commission I finished recently, based on my own take on the character V from V For Vendetta . Had fun and learnt quite a lot with this one, as the piece went through many iterations before coming to this final.
The piece shows V after a clash with the government forces, perhaps before the events of the movie. His fight with the police has ripped one of his gloves off - revealing his scarred hand as he examines his calling card - the Violet Carson rose.

I think that what I like most about this picture is that compared to other creepy drawings of characters, it perfectly fits him.

V is one of my favorite heroes and V for Vendetta is a great comic. I have the graphic novel that had all the comics in one and the movie was different from the comics but it was still a good movie.

It's a really good graphic novel. If you've seen the movie, you'll notice differences between the two. But I still enjoy the graphic novel and the movie.

this is a great piece of art and it is amazing to me because how you put it together from the big to small details in it , to the rich color color layout with the sharp edge to smooth edge it make it pop out to the screen and with the well play warm to cool colors willing catch my eye and the flow of it again amazing beautiful piece of art
