My first really long exposure capture!

This was just over one minute and thirty seconds of exposure to catch the entire first-stage flame trail of the Falcon 9 rocket taking Starlink 4-6 to orbit.
I'd never tried shooting at the old Gandy Bridge overlook before and thought this would be a decent location, but I didn't realize the rocket would be coming up to the visual south of the Tampa skyline; I assumed it would be oriented further left in this frame. As a result, the bridge and its lights were in the shot. And at this distance - 150 miles from the launch site - my 14mm lens is far too large. The rocket trail didn't even make it 20 degrees up into the sky. But the trail is clearly visible and the bridge lights didn't wash out the shot, so I'm calling this a success!

Oh, and it was REALLY cold! Some of you might say 40 degrees is nothing, but for my dad, it was freezing!

There are two more Falcon 9 launches this month, including one we might travel back to Cape Canaveral for, since it will be at 6:11 PM, a perfect time to try and catch the rocket plume being illuminated by the setting sun.
