I was practicing on my new tablet and I made a new oc... well I don't know how long that's going to last.Using a tablet instead of a mouse is making drawing so much easier. Something like this with a mouse would've made things slower, maybe around 3 hours. Instead, this was 10-30 mins, I'm not sure.
Well, what do you guys think on my first drawing with a tablet? Comments are appreciated.

I don't either. Well I had to work with a mouse for years (because I thought that's what digital artists used for their art >_>) so I did my best to make it work. Lol.

I have to say I've seen some amazing art come from artists who use ONLY a mouse (MichaelO comes to mind immediately).Β But I was never able to make a go of that kind of arting.

When I was just a beginner in digital art, my art was comparable to a 4-year-old's drawing. Β I didn't even have a mouse till I got one last year. Laptop touchpad is so much harder than an actual mouse.

especially when you're using a standard tablet (As compared to a companion) where you have to look at a separate screen and not your hand.

Why thank you! Glad you like the helm design. I'm not too sure if I like it though, I might change it.
I use a Wacom Intuos small.
It's a bit small for my laptop but it works.
