The official start to my 30 theme challenge (changed the title because there's no way that I'm going to get this done in the time allotted because I've got a .... JOBBBBB). Anyway, this is a screen shot of the Warrior illustration cause,... Iunno. I haven't really drawn anything serious and for myself in ages. I've been wanting to re-tackle my once named Choix-Noir project for a while now, specifically paying more attention to the mythology behind it. This is Mathis and Tessa's direct ascendants Rhett and Ylva respectively. I'm excited to get this one done just because it's stylistically different than anything else I've done, but I've been wanting to do something that looks more illustrative and story telling like for this story.

Anyway, this is how they first meet. Looking at this, Ylva looks way too much like Tessa, so I'm going to try to thin out and harden her features a little bit more.

Edit: WOOOOO DID MORE DETAILING -flopsover- Also, uploading this now because it's possible I won't finish this tonight. It seems like everyone suddenly wants to hang out with me.
