Well this is the last photo I took with my Fuji S9600 and clearly worth having a 300mm lens on it (albeit a fixed one)Couldn't sleep very well, from the moon shine coming through the curtains, and ended up on my doorstep in my dressing gown taking some shots at near vertical angles.
This last full moon was probably the brightest for a long time mainly owing to the previous comment (as it was so high up in the sky)
Anyway, my Nikon D90 awaits so goodbye Fuji, hello Nikon.

My Fuji went up to 300mm (plus I had a telephoto lens convertor on the end) - I wont get those sort of results now I have a Nikon unless I splash out on a big lens for it.

Hey, you caught our beloved Moon in her full-moon phase in the right time! I am so glad that you were up for taking a photo or two of 'La Luna' (Spanish for 'The Moon'

Yes, I very much intend to keep doing these shots, although I won't have the Fuji's focal length anymore. Sometimes photos just cant convey a moonlit night...something to experience and keep in your memories.
