Stlll waiting for the autumn colours to really come through here in Cornwall. Although this week has been a little cooler. Im hopeful for next week.

In a hopeful attempt to get this shot in the APN galleries unfortunately it was not felt to be good enough...
Sorry but this shot has been declined. It just doesn't have enough "wow factor". I'm not sure exactly why it doesn't wow me because it actually has great lighting and a good composition. I think maybe its because we see a lot of shots of trees in a row like this and there just isn't anything unique about this one to differentiate it from the rest and maybe also because row trees feel too orderly an unnatural. You do have a pretty good photo but the judges felt that it could use something more. I wish I could be more descriptive and helpful in this critique but its a tough one because it is technically pretty good and there isn't anything really obvious like lack of focus or exposure problems.
