Description I was listening to How to Twist a Dragon's Tail and was struck with the urge to draw a realistic book!Camicazi. I did refer to a picture of myself to get the features right... but I can't actually pinpoint what expression she has on her face right now. I was going for "overconfident", but I think I ended up with "delayed realization that said overconfidence was undeserved".

Still, she's just a fantastic character.

Oh fanks! I did take a picture of myself to get the features right (looking in a mirror just gets annoying)

Wow!

That is really good! She does look very realistic in the facial features.

She seems quite conservatively dressed for your usual depictions of Cami, but she probably likes to try different styles and moods.

Thank you very, very much! I tried to make it a little more child-like than it came out, but I do like the overall result.

My usual depiction of her is more of a post-movie/older-book hypothetical mixture. This is based straight out of the books. And there is only one picture reference of book!Camicazi: [link]

Not a lot to go on

I see. Yes, I have seen that picture of her. I didn't make the connection until now the ropes are from that picture.

I also can see your face in there based off of that photo you sent of yourself and your sister at what looks like some wine tasting or park setting.

Ah, that picture you're speaking of was at a wine-tasting place. My family gets a bit ridiculous with that kind of stuff, so we chose to sit at a table that had a bunch of half-drank wine glasses .

It's funny, because I used a picture I just took on my computer to get the expression right, and as I tried to soften and make the features more youthful it suddenly transformed into that particular sister.

Interesting... very interesting. I thought it was wine tasting. It certainly is a beautiful area.

Dat hair gave me some trouble. But I conquered it. And by troll illustration I assume you mean the potato doodle on the wiki-site.

I feel really good about putting her into people form. It'll help me envision her when I listen to the books.
