Name: Ananias Dare
Born: c. 1560; London, England
Died: January 18, 1589; Roanoke Island (age 28 or 29)
Allegiance: None

Bio: Very little is known about the early life of Ananias Dare.  He was born in London, and worked as a bricklayer and tiler.  At some point in his life, he met Eleanor White, the darling young daughter of artist and secret Templar John White.  The two fell in love and eventually married in St. Bride's Church on Fleet Street.

Sometime in the mid 1580s, Eleanor’s father was tasked with becoming the governor of the newly established colony of Roanoke in America.  The Templars had previously set up a colony there beforehand in 1586, but their ill-preparedness and lack of supplies led to them abandoning the project and they sought rescue by Sir Francis Drake, whose fleet was passing by.  The original goal was to find a rumored Precursor Temple containing a Piece of Eden.  While they could've easily just given up the search entirely, they instead decided to keep trying and sent White to oversee it all.  And so he gathered up a crew of 150 men, women, and children, including his daughter and her husband, and set out from England on April 26.  With them were also two Croatoan Natives named Wanchese and Manteo whom were visiting England for diplomatic purposes.  Upon arrival on Roanoke, the colonists built back up the scrapped remains of the old colony and began anew.

Eleanor gave birth to Virginia Dare, the first English child to be born on American soil, on August 18, 1587, and she and Ananias loved their baby girl very much.  However, raising her quickly proved to be a challenge, as the colony was already running out of supplies to properly function.  The colonists begged John White to return to England for supplies, and while he was reluctant at first, he eventually agreed and gathered up a crew, setting sail on August 27 and leaving the colony and its Templar operations in the hands of his assistants, Roger Prat and Roger Bailie.  Things quickly fell into chaos.  The Templars, already drunk on power, started to go insane from a lack of food and resources.  Because of this, they started oppressing and abusing the innocent colonists while they searched for the Piece of Eden.  The civilians were scared into submission, and kept their doors locked in fear of their lives.  Ananias took up arms alongside a few of his allies to defend their families, but they never rose up in full rebellion.  That is until one day in 1588.

Eleanor had been gathering up fruit from the forest when a Templar attacked her in a mad daze, cutting her up and threatening to kill her baby too.  She screamed in terror, and to her surprise, she was suddenly rescued by a brave young Croatoan woman named Kahente.  Kahente guided her and Virginia safely back to the colony, where they met with Ananias and sought shelter in their home.  The couple explained to Kahente what had been going on, and she vowed to protect them and every innocent life on the island from these crazed Templars.  From that point on, the Dares formed a special friendship with this new hero from some mysterious Brotherhood who saved their lives and helped them survive long enough to enjoy them.

But disaster struck in January 1589.  Kahente had tracked down the Templars just as they accessed the hidden Precursor Temple.  They severely wounded her and tried to activate the Shroud of Eden that was inside the main chamber, but accidentally reprogrammed it to think that English DNA was a virus that needed to be eradicated.  The Shroud let out a huge pulse of energy that disintegrated every Englishman on the island, including the poor Dare family, who barely had time to react before dying in terrible agony.

Kahente was wracked by the guilt of her loss for years on end, only managing to come to terms with it in 1595 when her twins were born.  She honored her lost friend by naming her daughter the same as hers: Virginia.

Let's see. He looks oddly taller than before, his beard looks manlier than ever, and his clothes and accessories look longer and more vibrant. All in all, a great improvement. I'd give it 9/9 Fullgores.
