I didn't use any blades from the series as inspiration.  I looked at various Indonesian weapons, metal work, jewelry, and patterns to come up with a design that looked like something an Indonesian Assassin would wear

I don't think it would work well for a Japanese blade though Japanese metalwork and patterns are quite different from that of Indonesia
