Been doing some more historical research, and I started looking a bit deeper into Australian history. I feel like there's some pretty decent settings for an Assassin's Creed story. Perhaps the Assassins would back the Aboriginal tribes who were trying to save their lands from the invading English Templars. And perhaps they'd also get some aid from the convicts that were sent to the colonies and shunned by general society. I dunno. I think it sounds cool.Related content

I’d love to hear more. That sounds so interesting. Well I had ancestors in the eureka stockade, by the name of William Quinlan, he was Irish and died during the stockade. His son Jack, killed the bush ranger mad eye Morgan. So there some stuff for ya. If your looking for some colonial history my ancestor is a Vaiben Solomon and he was and still is quite famous.

Sounds pretty damn cool, if a little shaky in terms of historical accuracy. I like the idea of focusing on Aboriginal history, though having the Assassins join the Aboriginal people to save their lands from English occupation doesn't really gel very well. Especially since, up until 1788, the Aboriginal people had next to no contact with the outside world barring the occasional Chinese merchant ship.
Also, huge missed opportunity for not including Dutch or French Templars, since their settlements predate Captain Cook's arrival by about 10ish years.

No worries. If you want, I could offer some historical research I did when I did a similar fanfic. Plus, I like your Aboriginal Assassin's design. It's a very nice blend of cultures, but it brings something new to the table. Also, that background looks beautiful.

XP No worries. Thing is about research; you want to do a perfect balance. Too little, and the story's unbelievable. Too much, and it gets bogged down in facts. You need to try weaving it in to the storyline, like it's the straw holding the wicker basket together.

It is. Though I do hate that I have to sacrifice speed tor it XD By the time I finish Project Thunderbird, I'll have been working on it for three years. At least I only have one more big story to go before the arch is finished lol
