Description

After the ice age had finally faded away, and the fertile landscapes of the world were once again revealed, human civilization was finally allowed to blossom.  Agriculture and cities had developed around the world's various river valleys, such as the Indus and Mesopotamia.  And sometime around 3200 BC, writing was invented, and thus ‘history’ had officially began.  Different cultures had developed all around these areas, each one influenced by the two ancient orders which had miraculously survived through the bitter cold, the freedom-defending Assassins and the oppressive Templars.  Places such as the Indus Valley Civilization were heavily influenced by the Assassins, and thus were rather peaceful places.  Everyone lived free and responsibly, everyone playing their part to help better themselves and humankind.  Places like Mesopotamia, however, we're not so lucky, as the Templars had gotten their hands on those lands.

The Templars used their power to rule over Mesopotamia, oppressing the citizens and using lies to justify it.  Many Templars had managed to dig up ancient artifacts - remnant technology from the Isu era now dubbed ‘Pieces of Eden’ - and used their powers of illusion to convince people that they could speak with, and therefore have the power of, the gods.  But the Assassins also had their part to play, and they would not allow the Templars’ injustices to continue.

Around 1792 BC, the Templars placed their man, Hammurabi, on the throne of Babylon.  He developed his famous law code to gain power for the Templars, and many of its clauses were unbelievably unfair.  An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.  The Assassins saw this, and in 1750 BC, they had managed to kill Hammurabi and beat the Templars back.  Hammurabi’s son soon took the throne in his place, but by then, the Assassins had traveled throughout Mesopotamia to inspire the people to rise up against the Templars that had conquered them.  While the Templars still had some influence in the area, they're power had become extremely limited yet again.

This wasn't the only place of conflict between liberty and tyranny.  Not too far from Mesopotamia was another river valley civilization, one around the Nile River.  And just like in Mesopotamia, the Templars were trying to rule over this land with an iron fist.  But also like in Mesopotamia, the Assassins weren't going to let this happen.  A young gifted man would eventually find his way into this conflict, and on that path he would help stop the Templars and free the slaves in this land.  And a major exodus would soon begin.

Enoch helped Gilgamesh... Never listen to the Christians who say God hated the Giants.... They only died for their actions which they were held accountable for... God hates no one and doesn't hate things simply for being... Gilgamesh was a good giant...

I'm afraid I've not personally read The Epic of Gilgamesh I've wanted to though, given the historical significance it holes.

When you remember studying Mesopotamia in the past, but you don't know what. Thanks School.
Dude, you are literally going to make a whole new planet and history of all these Templars and Assassins!!
You're so detailed and smart when it comes to trying to add all these events into a story! * 0 *
