Suggested by , whose awesome art I'm a big fan of. He has the same headcanon with Prometheus/Consus that I do with Lucifer. I think that's pretty cool. Maybe one day I'll redraw this scene with my interpretation involving the fallen angel.Related content

An interesting angle I thought of is that Prometheus and the Snake from legends are one in the same. He gave the piece of Eden to Adam and Eve because he felt remorse for creating life but denying them the same basic rights as them, and the demonetisation he suffered from in Christanty was simply Humanity loosing their knowledge of events as their descendants tried to make sense of the chaos surrounding them. Concluding that he who began the rebellion must have done so for nefarious purposes.
While the Geeks maintained a more accurate telling, their growing lack of sanctification results in the a bird eats his livers story.
Though I can imagine that the Isu punished him by rigging him to a machine that would continue killing him over and over again and resurrecting him each time with the shroud.

Personally, I like to stick to the headcanon that it was Lucifer who gave Eve the Apple just out of a desire to screw with society. Like, he'd trick the newly formed Assassins into thinking her was on their side for a while (maybe acting as a spy given his high rank amongst the angels) but in the midst of the War, both Michael and Eve Discover his true malicious intent to... I dunno, take over the world or something XD And so the two species had to form a brief truce in order to stop him and put him down.
I dunno. That's just my little spin on things
