I hope you'll excuse me for a break from my usual historical content today. This is a vent drawing I worked on for five straight hours last night because I just didn't have the energy to put anything else on paper. I went through three entire pencils making this. This week has been extremely difficult for me for many, many reasons, but the main demon haunting me right now is that a hornets nest has been kicked in my family. To be blunt, I no longer have a working relationship with my mother like I've mentioned before. A line was crossed, several lines at once actually, and my trust was abused. And now I'm scared for the health and safety of my other family members, and feel completely overwhelmed and powerless. My mental health is currently so low that it's affecting my physical health. I had to call off work because my body is basically stress eating itself, and aches all over. I've vented to my friends, and I'm extremely grateful for their support, but it was cold comfort. I've prayed to my gods, but they haven't answered. I really should seek professional help, but it's too expensive, especially after what's happened. I'm just… feeling very lost and alone right now. Don't worry, I'm not going to run away and disappear like I did the last time things got really bad. I'll be returning to our regularly scheduled edutainment tomorrow. If it's not too selfish to ask, I could just really use some words of love and encouragement in the meanwhile.
