Name: Jacob “Dusk Alimar” Singer
Born: October 22, 1997; Indiana
Allegiance: Templars

Bio: Jacob grew up with a very rough childhood, with an abusive mother who constantly neglected him and his three brothers. Jacob, despite being at the center of abuse himself, took it upon himself to be responsible and take care of his siblings when no one else would. However, life was still a struggle. He suffered from PTSD but was forced to take the wrong medication for it, and had a very difficult time finding friends and support due to constantly moving from place to place, school to school. The only constant ally he had was his nana, who did whatever she could to help him. Eventually, after the proper authorities were informed, Jacob and his brothers were taken out of their mother’s custody and sent to live in a group home, where they were slowly separated. Upon learning where he was, his nana came to take him in. It took a long battle with the courts to make it so, but luckily they eventually won the case.

Since then, he had been living happily with her, and started to build new connections over time. One particularly strong bond was with a young perky Catherine Spainhower, and their friendship would ultimately save his life. In late 2015, Jacob had been forcibly recruited by a tyrannical group called the Templars, who had nearly been wiped out in the city by their enemies, the Assassins. Appreciating their morals but disagreeing with their methods, Jacob's rebellion earned him a death sentence. However, he was rescued by Catherine, one of the leaders of the Assassin cause in Indianapolis, and Jacob was taken in as one of their recruits. Unfortunately, Jacob didn't sit well being a part of this brotherhood either, and often questioned his coworkers. Their relations didn't get any better when a few months later, the influence of a Staff of Eden had taken over his mind and driven him to flee after hurting their friend Ava. He resurfaced on top of the Chase Tower, attempting to use the Staff on the city, not realizing it would turn it into a crater. He was ultimately stopped by Catherine's blade, and the Assassins presumed him dead.

He awoke after his old friends had left, though. Now free from the Staff's control, Jacob set out to try and fight his old team's arch nemesis Cole Morgenster on his own. He was captured by the fiend however, and they attempted to brainwash him. But the memory of his friends kept him from becoming their puppet, and he escaped the complex and rejoined his friends to finally bring down Morgenster, whom they learned was the evil isu Lucifer, once and for all. Despite regaining the trust of his friends, Jacob did not rejoin the Brotherhood. He instead took the offer of one Juhani Otso Berg, who wanted to train him as a Templar agent known as the Black Cross. Going down the path he thought best for himself, he was now based at Abstergo, and came across many new foes like the mischievous Montgomery M. Monibaghs. Jacob always worked his hardest to stop the plots, and even if he wasn't an Assassin anymore, his friends knew he was only a phone call away.
