Description Part two of milking my friend famous YouTuber Blobbygobster ’s birthday for content is his secondary OC, Jason Feldew.  Born in 1981, Jason had been a member of the Assassin Brotherhood since at least 1998, when they had him hooked up to an Animus reliving the memories of his ancestor, Jackson McCride.  The Bleeding Effect from these sessions eventually landed Jason up sharing a head with the isu Neptune, who convinced Jason to bounce during a Templar attack and search for his Piece of Eden, the Trident, on his own.  Jason's old mentor Thomas reunited with him in 2001, and while he was unable to persuade his old teammate to come back to the Brotherhood, the two did agree they'd at least remain allies against the Templar Order.  That was all well and good until 2009, when a piece of the Trident of Eden was found and Jason's runaway Bleeding Effect led to the murder of one of the Assassins on the team.  As a result, Jason went on the run for the better part of a decade, until the Assassin Brandon Johnson caught up with him.  Luckily, Jason was able to persuade Brandon to call a truce in order to investigate the lives of their shared ancestors along the McCride line for more pieces to the Trident.  Where that truce has led them remains off the record…

Design notes, this one turned out way better than I expected it to.  The original prompt for Jason's design was black trench coat with white accents, iconic mask, and eye missing from a Templar assault.  Fairly simple, not my style.  Whenever I do modern designs, I like to try to take as much inspiration from cultural background as possible.  For Jason, that meant Irish, so the primary aesthetic I ended up going for was… IRA XD with just a smidge of the ronin antihero Brandon denies Jason is.  I even based his baton off of historical Celtic sword hilts.  The black also came out surprisingly clean in my scanner, which is more than I can say for the next one but uuuuuggghh we'll get to that when we get to that.  Why can't you just stick to the classic white robes like the rest of us Assassins, Brandon?
