A reference sheet for the main character of the historical setting of my fanfic, "Lost".

Name: Kahente
Born: North Carolina; April 17, 1571
Died: Connecticut; May 26, 1637
Allegiance: Assassins

Bio: Kahente was a Croatan member of the Assassin brotherhood born from parents who were themselves Assassins. Her parents trained her as an Assassin since she was capable of holding a blade and mentored her in the ways of the Creed. When Kahente was eight, her father died during a battle with a group of Templars, leaving her to be raised by her mother. Feeling the pain of this loss and never wanting to feel it again, Kahente's mother did everything she could to protect her daughter and to ensure she grew up happily. The death of Kahente's father also inspired both of them to keep up the struggle against the Templars.

Kahente rose through the Assassin ranks over the years as she put her skills to good use. She worked to keep the Templars from influencing or destroying the native tribes in the Americas,, though the increasing English population made this difficult. She traveled around the eastern coast and visited tribal villages and English colonies alike, including the lost colony of Roanoke. There, she made sure things went as fairly as possible.

In 1595, Kahente gave birth to twins, a son and daughter. She never knew the father. She loved her children and raised them in the Assassin's ways. Throughout their lives, they worked to fight the increasing Templar threat that came from the English and their conflict with the natives. Unfortunately, it seemed to be a losing fight. The English and Templars, with their superior weaponry, slaughtered hundreds of natives and Assassins. Kahente herself got caught in the middle of the Mystic Massacre in 1637, we're she burned and died along with the rest of the village. Her children and grandchildren carried on the fight in her honor.
