Bio: Kiki is a member of the Lakota tribe that was born on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation to Wanbli Arlie, an active member in the Red Power Movement, and her lover, Fulton Grant, and African American man fighting for civil rights. Her father died when she was only 2 years old, and her mother was left to raise the poor girl by herself, a task she was not yet prepared for. She did her best to give the girl a better childhood than she had, even going so far as to give up on her role in the Red Power Movement after the Longest Walk in 1979 and move away from the violent reservation in order to focus on raising her. They moved to Minnesota, where Kiki spent most of her life. Wanbli always taught her to go out into the world and make something of herself, and not allow her to get stuck in a life she felt trapped in like they felt at the Reservation.

In 1993, she got the opportunity to travel, and she found herself in London. The trip didn't quite go the way she expected it too, however, as she ended up accidentally stumbling across a conspiracy involving Abstergo Industries. Her snooping almost cost her her life, had it not been for the help of a charming British man named Aren Nesher, who helped get her to safety. He explained that he was a member of the Assassin Brotherhood, an ancient organization trying to stop the evil plans of Abstergo's Templar masters. Over the next few years, the two worked together and became best friends, inseparable after all the adventures they had gone on. Aren eventually proposed to Kiki in 1994, and they married not long after. Aren took Kiki’s last name.

In 1996, during a quick stop in Raleigh while returning to Minnesota from another adventure, Kiki was taken to the hospital so that she could give birth to their daughter, Ava. They lived happily for the next 4 years until tragedy struck them in 2000. The Templars had begun their “Great Purge” against the Brotherhood, sending agents across the world to murder every trace of the Assassins they could. The victims list tragically included Aren, who died defending his family from his nemesis, Cole Morgenster. Kiki fell into a pit of depression afterwards that she never quite got out of, and found herself in the same situation that her own mother was in with her. She raised Ava in her mother's Minnesota home and tried to teach her the same morals that Wanbli had taught her, hoping that the third time would be the charm and her daughter wouldn't end up in the same situation as them.

Ava returned to her birth town in 2015 when she got a job working for Abstergo Industries in order to help her pay for college. She often kept in touch with her mother, but her phone calls seemed to drop off after October of that year. It was only until June 2016 that Kiki got a call from Ava's friend Ben Dylan, an Assassin, telling her that Ava had fallen into a Bleeding Effect coma while working with the Brotherhood. Panicked and terrified, Kiki drove straight to the Assassin hideout in Indianapolis and worked up a fuss with Ava's friends. Kiki planned to take Ava home the second she woke up, but when that day came, Ava refused, saying she had learned a lot about her father and Morgenster during her Animus coma, and that the Assassins still had work to do, much to the objection of Kiki.
