I see. I also have some problems with Altair's armour - the suit...it does not look like medieval robes from Levant. It's renaissance suit. I think only the metal chest part are "armour" and the rest was added later, maybe by Renato.

I agree. I always figured the robes were either Domenico's or Renato's, since they were the ones that built the Monteriggioni Sanctuary and locked the armor in it.
