I've never seen Star Trek I rarely have time to get into a new show anymore lol.  I want to try and check it out some day though The concept you've given here certainly seems cool.

Yes, the Mirror Universe is very  interest and unique concept and a lot of fun can be play with it.

The idea right here is when Carter, and 3 others are sent to the Mirror Verse. (Switching places as they mirror selves are  sent to the Prime Universe and you know the chaos from that.) and well, you can imagine how horrific the 4 would be in the Mirror Universe. (Assassins are a Dark aggressive, mistrustful, opportunistic, Brotherhood that  values war, despotism, power, and conquest, while the Templar Order are the Guardians of Human Freedom, Hope, Light, and Will and been so since the very start of it all.) 


 You are get back home, but Carter talks to one of the Mirror Characters (Be it Mirror!Ava, Mirror!Chelsea, or even Mirror!Angie.) that help them into taking over the  Indianapolis Mentorship and rise in rank to try and change the Brotherhood and work with the Templar Order.

If it helps, I can show you other Mirror scenarios of other works to give you a better idea. (Fictional, and some Historical ones.) Or show you more of ST's Mirror Verse if that helps.

I do remember playing around with some AU ideas similar to this concept once, though a bit different.  I think the initial thought I had was what if Aveza had been a Templar instead of an Assassin.  Like, all the historical stuff would remain the same, but it would be on the American side of things instead of the British.  So instead of fighting Andrew Jackson at the Battle of New Orleans, she'd rush across the battlefield to kill Edward Packenham, or she'd be the one to fell Tecumseh, that kind of thing.

For all of Rogue issues, I like how they was able to show some good in the Templar Order in that some truly what to help Mankind and aid Humanity,  those who are utterly sincere in their efforts to establish a beneficent New World Order that will protect people from chaos. (I am still against them, and a NWO, but Rogue gave the Templar a form of human face.)

I suppose so, yeah.  I'm always team Assassin though XD While Rogue got me to understand the Templar ideology a bit more, I was still far from siding with it lol
Also speaking of Rogue, am I the only one who was kinda disappointed that we only got one non-Templar historical target?  I was really hoping they'd take the opportunity to explore different perspectives in history and send us off to the Plains of Abraham or something.  But instead all they gave us was some random French explorer who I only knew was a historical figure because of how long and ridiculous his name was XD

Your not the only one. I feel like missed out a lot of the Freach and Indian War, and even the Seven Years War in Europe.  (The Freach was winning the War in North America at first.) 

But either way, I would like to see how Aveza had been a Templar would go for her. (And the fact she would be fighting Arnold, Connor, and so on.)

I never really put much thought into the idea.  It was always kind of a little side concept I toyed around with when I got bored XD
The way I'd see it going is that her parents would be Templars, her father was killed by the Assassins, and so her mother takes her to Fort Arsenal to meet Shay and introduce her to the Templar Order and have her join.  Years later, she works alongside the American government and Shay to insight a war against the British in 1812, and once war does break out she joins the American Army alongside William Henry Harrison and other American figures at various historical events.  She kills Tecumseh at the Thames and starts to collab with Andrew Jackson in his coup against Shay.  They take his Precursor key but find that they still don't have the means to access the Armor of Gabriel, so they move on to dealing with the politics of the Era of Good Feelings.

Still sounds like a good set up. A pity she works with Jackson, and not with Shay. (Looking at Chapter 23 at Shay last battle and sacrificed. Died like a true son of Ireland.) 

OR....Moving away from AU's, or the Mirror Universe, is Carter, Ava, and all your ancestors meeting on a train, and force to do stuff for a unknown voice at this place, or that. Or just in the modern age, and all that jazz.

Yeah, I remember thinking for a long time about how I wanted to handle Shay in Anthem.  I had a bunch of different ideas, like Aveza killing him, him going fully corrupt with Jackson, him teaming up with the Assassins again to fight Jackson.  But in the end I felt like the sacrifice ending was one that suited his character best.  It kinda seemed like a tragic but fitting conclusion to his character arch and all the lessons he learned over the years.

I feel like half the conversations would just be awkward shuffling between us and our ancestors XD I mean, Ava's ancestor tutored one of mine, and yet another of her ancestors got her brains blown out by another of mine.

I think you did a good job with him. Staying true to his ideas as a Templar, regretting his actions to the old Brotherhood, and doing one last thing to tip the odds in favor of the Assassins to keep things against Jackson.

OHH....That would highly awkward, but a reward in itself.

May I ask just who killed who?

I see it going a few ways:
1. If we add the factor of AU Arnold also beinf a Templar, then I'd imagine the genepool would still carry on and Ava would be able to receive the message from Gabriel.
2. Aveza is a Templar and Arnold isn't, thus making this timeline a dud for Gabriel since Ava would never be born.

Well, you can always hook Templar Aveza up with someone else, thus allowing the bloodline to carry on, and have Ava, if a bit different of a Ava.
