Bio: Pen Quill grew up in Canterlot with his loving family, which was made up of his parents, his sister Feather Duster, and his aunt. Much like his older sister, his parents trained him in blade-dueling since he was capable of handling one. However, where Feather Duster always pondered about what the training was for, Pen Quill never really gave it that much thought. All he knew was that his parents loved him, and that they passed on their knowledge to him. They always taught the siblings about the importance of freedom, compassion, and kindness.

One day, though, when Pen Quill was 8, reality forced itself upon him. In the middle of the night, a group of masked ponies came and burned their house down. His parents and aunt fought off the attackers, but tragically, his parents didn't survive the night. Their aunt took the disheartened siblings to a safe place after the event. There, she told them of their heritage. They were descendants of members of the Assassins, a brotherhood that devoted themselves to the preservation of freedom and equality of Equestria. They learned that the attackers were Templars, members of an order dedicated to nothing but gaining complete control and demolishing freedom.

After hearing this, the siblings gladly accepted their destinies, and vowed to aid the Assassin cause. While Feather Duster rose through the Assassin ranks and eventually became the mentor, Pen Quill wanted a simpler role. He traveled to a small town called Ponyville, and dealt with the smaller problems that occurred there. It wasn't much, but he didn't mind. He gathered a small brotherhood in town, and they worked together maintain the peace in town. Their job became much easier once the Elements of Harmony came into play. They dealt with the big problems while the Assassins cleaned up whatever messes still occurred.
