So this is another scene from my AC fanfic, “Anthem”, this being the part where Aveza and Arnold finally confess their feelings for each other while she recovers at the Homestead from the beating William Henry Harrison gave her during the Battle of the Thames.

Well usually I try to write the stories in a way that people who aren't as familiar with those things can still get the basic idea and learn a bit of history too. That's why I put links to the Wikipedia pages of all the historical events and characters in the descriptions of the chapters

XD It sucks too cuz I just moved to a new city and I literally don't know anyone. And I'm the kind of person who can only date someone if I'm super good friends with them and have known them for a long time 
Admittedly, there was a time when I didn't care that much for history either. But then I started playing these games and they did such a good job at teaching history in a way that makes it seem super epic and fun ^^
