Playing Assassin's Creed 1 and Assassin's Creed: Revelations really made me want to visit the real life Masyaf castle. The problem with that, of course, is that the place is in Syria… So, yeah. Guess that's one location I'll have to erase from my “Places I want to travel to” list. Oh well. For now I'll have to just settle for this picture of a modern Assassin visiting Masyaf castle, which was once the crown jewel of the Assassin brotherhood, until the Templars came in and took it over...Related content
