Celestia and Luna gaze at Sapientia's light show.Uuuuuuugh. This one looks awful! Like, I'm personally ashamed of this one, and that's saying a lot because I hate all of my drawings. This one just looks so sloppy. But I spent so much time trying to make it look okay and I was so exhausted after working on it. I just didn't want it all to go to waste.

nothing is worse than being your own worst critic. night skys are difficult at best as far as ive been told. you still did a good job as for digital tools you might want to get a wacom they go for about 79-99 on amazon depending on if they have a sale going on. i plan on picking one up for my daughter in about a month or so. as for the tools yes i do agree on using pen and paper over keyboard thats why i hand write out everything first then transcribe later. it feels more organic in that sense.

I can't help it. I just think this one looks awful. And all I have is barely have 50 cents, so I don't think getting a tablet is much of an option. Even if it was, I have zero digital art skills. I just can't seem to get a grasp on it and whatever I draw ends up looking like a four-year old drew it. There's no sense of pressure or angle when you draw digitally, and that screws with my brain.

Yeah. I get that when I draw. When it comes to writing stuff though, I actually prefer typing it rather than physically writing it.

yeah its more work but i feel i get a better result because it lets me re-read and edit as i go and type. i completely understand though its a tactile feel. i just feel more connected with the story when i write it out first.

Me personally, I kinda reread and edit as I write, and having on say a word document helps me go through what I've written and it helps me to easily change what I want.

i use dragon when im in a hurry. now that has given some really hysterical results because i dont use it enough to catch on to some of the words freshly tilled earth turns into freshly killed earth. that and i found out that if you play music in the back ground it will also write down the lyrics as well.

yeah ill use dragon when im in a hurry and fix after im done. as for me my mom had me typing as soon as i could see the keyboard. i still remember those old typing programs. infact i still have my moms old delta gold comp in my storage shed. im honestly wondering if there is a way to slave the drive to my desktop if there is an adaptor i can find for that.

Yeah. I used to have those in some of my classes as a kid. I could never get a hang of 'the proper finger positions'. I always typed much faster and with fewer mistakes when I just used whatever fingers I wanted on any key.

yeah that took me a bit to get down but when i did i got really good when i lived in arkansas they still used typewriters. now that was an adventure.

yep we used to put a blank piece of paper over the keys that would rest over your hands so you couldnt see the keys. the looks on people's faces when they knew they had just hit the wrong key. good times good times

Yeah, it looks awful. It was near impossible to color in w consistent direction due to all of the stuff in the background. Ugh. It's stuff like this that makes me wish I could do digital art. Oh well.

I do have some tools, though they don't seem very efficient. Plus, I don't have any of the skills necessary to properly use them. Trying art digitally just feels so unnatural.
