So if you couldn't tell already this story isn't exactly heavy on taking itself seriously XD I did my best to just drench this in the 80s, including the cheesy insanity.

As promised, this is the second short story fanfic to tie in with Aphelion, “Thunderstruck”! (There might actually end up being a third short story starring Arktalaki after this one depending on how productive I am lol) Thunderstruck doesn't necessarily advance the plot but it's still a nice little bridge between my fan lore XD It takes place in sunny Los Angeles, 1988, and stars my dad and aunt as teenage Assassins with a love of rock music. After getting snubbed by a music competition manager, they set off to find the mythical Pick of Eden, a device capable of giving them the most incredible rock skills of all time. Going up against them is Cole Morgenster with a mullet, who is equally drenched in 80s cheese here XD It's a race to see who can get the Pick first and who can come out on top as the best musician in Los Angeles. It's silly and goofy but I figured hey, that's kinda what the 80s were all about lol. Give it a read if y'all think you'll enjoy it ^^ First chapter goes up tomorrow. Rock on!
