Description
WikipediaName: Zebulon Montgomery Pike
Born: January 5, 1779; Lamberton, New Jersey
Died: April 27, 1813; York, Upper Canada (age 34)
Allegiance: Templars
Bio: Pike was born the son of a Templar who was also named Zebulon, who began his own military career in the Continental Army in 1775. The younger Zebulon grew up on multiple outposts throughout the Illinois and Ohio areas of the Northwest Territory. In 1799, he was commissioned as a second lieutenant of infantry and was then promoted to first lieutenant later that same year. He married Clarissa Harlow Brown in 1801 and the two had a daughter, Clarissa Brown Pike, who would eventually marry a son of fellow Templar William Henry Harrison.
Pike’s early military career mostly involved working on logistics and payroll at a series of frontier posts under the mentorship of General James Wilkinson, governor of the newly purchased Louisiana Territory. In 1805, Pike received Orders from Wilkinson to find the source of the Mississippi River, and so he set out on an expedition through the Louisiana Territory to do so. He was almost immediately sent on a second expedition upon returning, this time to explore and map the areas around the Arkansas and Red Rivers. He was also instructed by Grand Master Shay Cormac to try and establish friendly relations with the local Native American tribes in order to have better access to lands containing Precursor sites and relics.
The expedition, soon to be known as “Pike’s Expedition”, began on July 15, 1806. Pike's crew headed south after giving up on trying to climb Pikes Peak in November, and accidentally set up a fort for shelter over the Spanish border. The Spanish army captured him and most of his men on February 26, 1807, and were taken to Santa Fe. Then they were taken to Chihuahua City, where Pike was fortunate enough to meet with a fellow Templar, Commandant General Salcedo. The two worked out the issues that Pike's expedition presented to the local Templar plans (many in Mexico were growing rather tired of the way the Spanish government was treating them, and the Assassins jumped at the chance to aid the independence movement). Salcedo was eventually able to pull some strings and had Pike and most of his men returned to the United States on July 1, 1807. Pike was promoted to captain not long after. He later helped William Henry Harrison fight off Assassin allies at the Battle of Tippecanoe in 1811.
Political tensions between the United States and Great Britain eventually led to the War of 1812 in June 1812. Pike proved himself a capable soldier and rose through the ranks, becoming a brigadier general in 1813. In April, he led an expedition to attack the British city of York, hometown of the Shawnee-Canadian Assassin, Aveza Deryn. Aveza was visiting with her mother, Shikoba, at the time, and the two immediately rushed to try and stop the Templars from taking the city. Shikoba was captured by Pike's men and held for ransom. Aveza responded to Pike's threats by blowing up the powder magazine in Fort York and turning the fort into a pile of flaming debris that went flying into the American Army, killing many, including Pike. Aveza and Shikoba tried and failed to stop the rest of the Americans from marching into town and burning it, forcing them to retreat to the Davenport Homestead in sorrow. Pike's body was later recovered and taken to be buried in the military cemetery at Sackets Harbor.

These Temps. might be bad guys, but they sure have a good sense of style. Why do the bad guys always get the good stuff? Are you sure that the Assassins aren't killing them out of pure jealousy Mods? XD

But still, that suit alone is sharp enough to cut through an entire army on its own. You gotta admit that.
