I actually think this looks better than the one in the show. In the show she's just a palette swap of Twilight.

I agree. I mean, I know the whole same mane thing is suppose to signify how obsessed she was with Twilight, but still. To keep your main and tail similar to the one who broke your heart? Really? I honestly couldn't enjoy the episode just because of that flaw. I know it's very little to complain about, but at the same time.. The show has always been known for creating ponies with unique manes and lovable desingns. So it's really sad to see the show stoop as low as recoloring. Especially when it's a character as well known and important as Twilight. Why they couldn't use Fausts original MD concept designs, the IDW comic version of MD, or the playskool toy.. I will never know

The comic version didn't have glasses either and if you study at the school for gifted unicorns an eye correction spell should be simple.
Cheese Sandwich is proof that such spells exist in case you were wondering.

Well the comic version has proved that for the most, part... It's not cannon unless the show says so. So maybe MD still needed glasses.

Actually peoples stigmatism can vary. I used to have glasses when I was a kid because I couldn't see well, but sometime in 2012 ; my eyes started hurting and I took them off feeling better. I also realized I can see perfectly fine with out them. Maybe CS was the same way?

She needs to get more attention. Let's hope we actually see her in season 4, as well as getting to know more about how close her and Spike's friendship was.
