Description
This is a birthday present for Keladry Lupin. It is based upon her fic, "She Was Beautiful to Him"He stood next to Granger's bed. Her eyes were wide and glassy in the moonlight. Bending over, he saw that her pupils were dilated, betraying no hint of their usual brown warmth.
Like his own, black and deep. When you look into the abyss, the abyss also looks into you, he remembered. Sighing in resignation, he summoned a chair to him and straddled it, resting his arms across the back.

His mind seemed to hiccough at the absurdity, but he knew it to be true. She was kindred.

Well, you know how much I love this! The sharp edges of the contrasting colors, your color choices, the softness of her and the harshness of him.
I try to choose what I like best, and I can't do it. It's her hair, no it's his face, no it's her hand with the paper in it, no it really is her hair, no it's his hair ...
You get the idea.
I can't tell you how grateful I am, for such a beautiful gift.

I like this quite a lot. I like the contrast between the harsh lines you've used on Snape and the softer lines you've used on Hermione and in the background. Nicely done.
