Well you are wrong, because I found someone. Not everyone wants money like that. Like I said, the money will come. My websites is full of free labor of people that just want to share their own expression or the expression of others. They are the real artist. You don't have to like me asking you, you could just ignore it or say no. It would not hurt my feelings. If I have to ask 1000 people to get 1 yes, that is what I will do. Because all I want is to spread my members work, the same way you want to spread your work. Good day to you.

I'm curious though- How good is the quality of art you are getting from people without paying them? You wouldn't go to a dentist and ask for a free service- you wouldn't go to a restaurant and expect your meal to be free. I will never understand why other people think that you should go around asking for free art. If you can't pay someone for a service then take out a loan so you can. Artists can't pay for food with "expression." Oh well, you said you got someone to do your work for you for free. I look forward to seeing the final product.Β

People have to start from somewhere. And Yes the person that was kind enough to help me is brilliant. I left them a message just like I left you. And using your analogy, I do a lot of things for free. Because I want to give back or be helpful. I have a job in which I get paid. No one pays me for my writing either. But I still do it. I edit other works FOR FREE because I want to share. I never understand why people try to push their ideas on others. Just cause you want to get paid for all of your work doesn't meant there aren't others that aren't willing to help. Not everyone is extremely selfish. Some people actually LIKE helping others. Even with free labors. If I wasn't the type do free labor I wouldn't be brazen to ask for it. Besides, I will pay my artist anyway. You don't have to check up on me because your opinion of me means little. I don't like your narrow-mindedness. All you have to do is say no or ignore me. I can ask 1000 people if it means one person will say yes. Because I want my authors on my site to get more attention to their stories. Just like you want more attention for your art. I may feel embarrass when I ask but I will do it. Even PROFESSIONAL PAID artist once in a while give work for charity. I don't need you to lecture me. I understand very well what artist are and what they go through.

We get asked for free work ALL the time- and you're the type of person asking for it. Do you know what that's like? Working a job you got a degree in, with people constantly asking for free hand outs? It's awful. so go ahead- go ahead and make 999 other artists feel like shit when you ask them to pour in all of their skills, effort, degrees, time- into your projects for free. JUST so you can get that one person who will say ok. hope it'sΒ worth it, because you ARE making those other 999 people uncomfortable. You are ARE insulting them by asking them to give you free work.

Actually yes, yes what you ask is ridiculous, because someone working for free is the first step into the career grave. Happy you found someone, and a hope your endeavor is successful, but as an artist who makes their living off of making art, a request like that is almost insulting for thinking that someone that's poured their heart and soul into their path shouldn't be paid upfront or even half. You're asking someone else to shoulder the fall while you lose nothing and they lose time and money that they're likely not to get back or at the very least could have spent on their own projects to get their careers started. It's easy to say 'it will make money!' than it is to actual pull off, and anyone that even remotely business knows that mind set will fail. If you were actually serious about this project, you'd have you're work done and would have saved enough to pay the artist, not asking for handouts.Β
