there're a few ways to make white clothing look interesting;
a) use a slightly off white colour for the base colour, like so: gendo0032.deviantart.com/art/P…
b) use slightly warm or cool greys for the shadows (depending on what colour your ambient light is -- I pretended there was blue sky around her, which cast cool colours in your shadows), like I did here
c) use a soft air brush with low opacity and colour the surrounding areas -- like the black part of the maid costume, or the hair -- with a white colour -- it gives the illusion of radiosity, which helps make shading look convincing www.google.com.au/webhp?source…
