This is an entry for 's contest. (Which is due today
) This is a very common legend in Guatemala but also one of the legends that vary the most in plot. One of the most known plots are that the weeping woman kills her own child but she deeply regrets ever killing her child. Nowadays, the weeping woman cries over the death of children.
This drawing is dedicated to my friend Eric.
I'm very proud of how this drawing ended up but unfortunately the scanner killed most of the quality of the drawing @.@

woah O.O what caught my eyes were the strands of hair...and the way it sorts of floats around her. VERY epic ^^ really injects life into the picture. overall, great pic, color tones were well chosen and the blue-ness blends well into the theme of loss.

I just threw out my printer (that comes with a scanner) today after cleaning my desk, room, and bookshelf (dead tired >w>; ) but seeing my printer outside makes me sad now lol even though it cant print and the scanner sucks XD;
But this is very nice! Love the colors >w< i dont see the loss of quality though

yeah... the circle patterns took me awhile since i have no imagination XD well the hair was supposed to be black instead of brown and sometimes it looks like I really rushed the shading of the skin = =
