I'm still practicing linocut. As the last one satisfied me, and as I'm a little bit insane, I wanted to push the details further.So I've chosen another picture, a hard and big one. Type Song 16, about Seven Seas of Rhye by Queen, and proudly awarded by a Daily Deviation, was perfect to take up the challenge.

Linocuts are hell to make in my opinion, but the result is wonderful. I like this one very much. This is a work that I'd want to my wall too.

I missed your comments, Forem ! Linocut is not that hard, it just requires patience. And some stuff. And a healthy back.
Well I finally printed a numbered edition of this piece. It's gonna be sold but I have to check online shops, guidelines, shipping, etc.

I missed your works and works! Had to go around your gallery again. Linocut is not hard, that's true. Needs a lot of work though, as does everything. Last time I did lino the knife I was using snapped half and hit to my hand. ^^'' I'd still like to do some graphics again.
Hmm.. you could do postcards too. This style would be gorgeous to them. Hit me with a note about the price when you have it, I don't promise to buy anything as I am unemployed now, but I might get a present from a friend.

Linocut is dangerous, I got some cuts in my fingers as well. I should wear coat of mail gloves, just like butchers.
I will probably make some postcards. I recently brought a screw press in a flea market, and just restored it. It's gonna be a great tool to print small plates. But actually I haven't published any item to be sold, I can warn you about this if you want to.
These times I don't answer to messages regularly 'cause I'm spending more time away from my computer, but I'm glad to hear from you again.

I've used past few weeks doing more traditional
than digital art and now digital art seems to be
complicated
painting with wacom again.
Screw press is something I've thought buying.
But I think I'll wait until I've got proper workshop..
Have you already made postcards? I'm being curious

Yeah coming back to digital takes time. I'm working on a big commission of type portraits this week and after spending time on engravings and away from my computer, the beginning was a bit tiring for my eyes and wrists.
I've tried to make one postcard for the moment. I didn't get an idea which was clever enough yet so let's say it's for fun. Maybe I'll post it here later to fill your appetite.

Yeah I think I will. I have to find the best paper, and learn more about making a numbered edition (like true artists, haha). And I have to learn more about etsy too (fees, shipping, etc), I don't know how it works.
