I'm officially posting my actual next gen and I really want to express my gratitude to Kilala97, Lopoddity, hikariviny, h0mi3, dbkit, whisperseas, pandamoniyum, pikokko, ipandacakes and many others who have always inspired me to do my own next gen, seeing you guys having fun with your designs made me want to do my own, to experience this pleasure myself. I'm endlessly grateful to you all!!!

This is Shield, second born, son of Twilight Sparkle and Flash Sentry, he's intentionally similar to shining armor, he looked a lot more like him but if I didn't change him he'd look like a winged Shining Armor, and that'd be a problem XD I'm still thinking about his name, I want it to be shield but I want a longer name.

NAME: Gleaming Shield (Goes by Shield)
PARENTS: Twilight Sparkle and Flash Sentry
SPECIES: Pegasus
GENDER: Male

Shield is a easy going, kind and a big pegasus. Even though he's Twilight's second child, he's significantly bigger than his older sister, Starswirl. He's his parent's baby, he would happily go to the library to read with his mother or work out with his father, whenever they'd like to. He wants to make them really proud when he grows up. He is highly over protective around the ones he loves, and he aims to be the captain of the royal guard, just like his uncle. Also, he totally idolizes Shining Armor and always looks forward to visit him and Princess Cadance at the Crystal Empire, and Shining spoils him a lot, and gave him his all his childhood stuff, since their children don't really have the same interests as him. Shield is like Shining Armor Junior. On the other hand, Shield has some serious issues about dependency. He relies too much on other people and listens to much to them. He doesn't know much how to show his own opinion, and often just agrees with what others say. He's also easily manipulated and believes in almost everything other people say.

- Shield was actually pretty small, and his parents actually though he was a girl. He often used to hide behind Starswirl. The name Gleaming Shield was suggested by Twilight's mom, Twilight Velvet, since it was the name Shining Armor would have if he was born a mare. Even though they eventually realized Shield was a boy, they still kept it. Shield feels honored to have received the name his uncle could have had, but still likes to be called just Shield. His family often calls him Gleam or Gleamy sometimes, just to tease him.
