Description
Furrets for Poke fan-club's "Draw me a Pokemon".If I win I call Aggron.
This was drawn over the course of 1/18 to 1/19, painted and edited on 1/19/12.
I'm really happy with the way these two came out! I also think the background came out well. It's meant to be a little stream and mossy rocks.

Thank you!
That is certainly one of the things I was trying for.

Lovely work. The poses look so natural! Did you look at some references of ferrets to get the poses right?

While I do like to work from reference photos, I did not on these two. Their poses were the end result of several sketches, most of which I erased and tried again before getting two that I liked. I did use a photo of a Furret for facial features, and I had researched weasel anatomy for the Poke-fanclub's Pokeswap but nothing specifically for these two.

Thanks. This is the way I usually make art, I've only once made a piece entirely in Photoshop. All my others are more or less traditional.
