I think the emotions that come forward from this pic really are in accordance with the statement it brings out. Less emotion in this pic would have made it less touching. Pictures have to move me at first glance, and this one really did. So many is told in this photograph... Is it a complaint against society, are is it more a personnal struggle?

Seriously though, I think you got the style right. Maybe frazzle the hair a bit more and tone the color down a bit. That's all I can really spot.

I LOVE how your eyes and lips look in this picture. GOD DAMN. I would really like to use this as a reference shot for a drawing. Pretty much the same thing only maybe alter the outfit.. but everything else is great. Or maybe just put this into Painter and see if I can't re-create it as a portrait.. ooooh..
