Originally, this was just supposed to be a simple sketch to practice charcoal a little, but I liked it, so I decided to just finish it up completely.

This probably took 15 minutes or so..

I was messing around with charcoal and the dark streaks inspired me to draw a skull. So I took a few minutes to do a quick sketch of a skull with charcoal, which had a grim feeling. Just a lonely skull sitting in the dark...so it made me want to add some blood. After I added the blood, I decided to clean the sketch up a bit to give it a more finished look.

I used a charcoal stick and a red pastel.
